Working together to ensure dignity for all people.

About Us

We are a network of Muslim-led humanitarian organizations working together to make the world a better place. Convened in 2020 by seven founding member organizations, the American Muslim Humanitarian Forum (AMHF) is an alliance of Muslim humanitarian and development organizations partnering to eliminate extreme poverty, strengthen human rights, safeguard our planet, promote peace, and ensure dignity for all people.

Our Members

Our member organizations work in over 60 countries around the world. We work to mobilize our members to collectively advocate for policies and solutions that advance the lives of people in the most marginalized positions, as well as to help improve their impact through our various coordination and collaboration efforts.

Our Work

AMHF is the US network for Muslim-led organizations working in international development. During these increasingly difficult times, charities, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are finding it even harder to achieve their missions. We connect, strengthen, and champion a dynamic network of diverse Muslim organizations to help eliminate extreme poverty, strengthen human rights, safeguard our planet, promote peace, and ensure dignity for all people.

The forum’s objectives are to:

  • Draw attention to humanitarian catastrophes

  • Coordinate member advocacy efforts

  • Share best-practices and learn from one another’s diverse experience and expertise

  • Improve communication amongst member organizations
